My fascination with the plethora of products geared to the aspiring online businessperson began as soon as my decision to dabble on the internet several years ago did. It was easy to buy into hype, empty promises, gimmicks and long-shots disguised as fool-proof, push-button, instant wealth creators. Mind you, I’m not saying all internet marketing product developers are out to make a quick buck at the expense of our desperation to make it online, but there are some out there that prey on that very thing. It’s easy to say to oneself, “why does that guy just make more and more money and I can’t even sell one ebook through an affiliate link?” It can indeed be discouraging.

I’ve tried many products: some I’ve purchased and others I’ve demo-ed. Some have been colossal wastes of my time and money, while others have not been. I’ve searched online review sites for many ideas and answers as well. The problem is, with most review sites, there is a conflict of interest between wanting to make a quick buck and the quality of (or even an understanding of) the next, great affiliate product being served up to JVs and aspiring online businesspeople. So it boils down to an epidemic of “reviewer-inflation” and the question of which review is sincere, and which is merely banter to rank in the search engines and “slap” a product onto a page with a download and/or affiliate link.

Plain and simple: I enjoy internet marketing. It is a challenge, exciting in its almost limitless possibilities and downright fun. I therefore am online quite a bit and learning as much as I can. That translates into a lot of research, experimentation, mistakes and real, HONEST evaluations of products and issues that I’d like to share with you here.

That is what my chief aim of HonestIBizReviews.com is: to take my love of the pursuit of knowledge of superior products and experimentation, combined with a loathing of products that are overly-hyped and which provide little to no value, and to provide a place that can be a trusted resource, finally.

I have a very basic rating system:

“A Go”: I recommend
“Uh, No”: I don’t recommend
“A Maybe”: Depending on your situation, could be “A Go” or “Uh, No.”

Please keep in mind that my reviews are my opinions and based on my unique experience, so results and needs may vary. I try to be fair to all parties involved, while giving the products a real workout and by sharing my honest opinions here.
